In July 2015 Rutland Water Nature Reserve’s Volunteer Training Centre officially opened its doors. The Centre is a purpose-built facility which provides a base for the reserve’s 400-strong team of staff and volunteers.
The Volunteer Training Centre is open on a by appointment basis to the public, Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4pm. Please get in touch beforehand if you would like to arrange a visit. Our car park is for Volunteer Training Centre users and volunteers only; the gates will be locked when the Training Centre is closed.

The building is managed by the reserve’s Community Engagement Officer, Becky Corby, with the support of Volunteer Coordinator, Sarah Proud. We’re here to help and will be very happy to answer any questions or provide any information you need. Click here to submit an enquiry.
