Job Opportunity: Lyndon Visitor Centre Coordinator

VISITOR CENTRE COORDINATOR – Rutland Water nature reserve

We are seeking a seasonal Visitor Centre Coordinator for 2019 to coordinate operations at our Lyndon Visitor Centre at Rutland Water nature reserve.

This new post will be part of the Rutland Osprey Project team, coordinating operational activities at our Lyndon Visitor Centre and assisting with the running of the Rutland Osprey Project, to ensure the delivery of an exceptional visitor experience.

We are looking for someone with experience in the commercial environment who has spent time on the shop floor, ideally with experience of visitor centre management. You will be highly organised, have a head for finance, with good IT skills and pay meticulous attention to customer care. You must enjoy a busy working environment and possess great drive and initiative.

This role will also support the Rutland Osprey Project, through giving talks and leading events, therefore you will be an excellent communicator, with some experience of communications work and providing face-to-face interpretation to the public.

This seasonal post is the ideal opportunity for someone seeking a career change or an early-career starter.

A full driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
