Poole Ospreys – and much more!
In 2017 the Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation, along with Birds of Poole Harbour, began a project to restore a population of Ospreys on the South Coast after an absence of almost 200 years.
The first eight juveniles were translocated to Poole last year as part of the five year project that will see a total of 60 birds released at Europe’s second largest natural harbour.
Join Dr.Tim Mackrill to learn more about this exciting new project, including the very latest news about Ospreys in the UK and beyond. Tim will also talk about some of the Foundation’s other work with a range of different species as well as the latest developments with the charity he has recently established, the Osprey Leadership Foundation.
The talk will take place at the Anglian Water Birdwatching Centre, LE15 8BT
Your ticket price includes tea/coffee on arrival as well as some light bites.
This event is fully booked.
