Join licensed bat worker and Leicestershire Bat Group member Joelle Woolley for an evening workshop on British Bats.
These amazing creatures are often misunderstood and overlooked so join us to learn the basics and head out for a guided bat walk on the reserve. You will learn how to listen to and identify the bats using detectors. You may also spot some other nocturnal wildlife – owls, foxes, badgers – as you stroll around the reserve after dusk.
Meet at the Birdwatching Centre on the Egleton reserve. Please wear suitable clothing for an outdoor walk on a nature reserve – sturdy footwear & warm clothing essential
