Odonata are a mysterious order of insects, starting the first years of their life lurking in pools hunting their prey, before emerging for their final stage, as beautiful as it is fierce….

Richard is an enthusiast for dragonflies and damselflies, and has built up a passionate interest in observing and photographing them over the past four years. This well-illustrated talk will be an introduction to these fabulous creatures, discussing their life-cycle, where and when to find them, key identification features, and more!

The talk is on Thursday 5th April at the Volunteer Training Centre (click here.), meeting at 6.45pm for a 7pm start. Tea and Coffee will be provided.
