Tuesday 15th May 2018 - 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Location: Anglian Water Birdwatching Centre
Address: Rutland Water Nature Reserve
We are pleased to announce that we are able to recommence our evening walks at the reserve to listen to the beautiful song of the Nightingale, which have returned to breed in the past 2 years.
Meeting at the Anglian Water Birdwatching Centre, you will join one of our wardens for an evening stroll through the reserve. The target will be to hear (and hopefully see!) our resident Nightingales doing what they do best – singing gloriously!
We will also discuss the habitat requirements and general ecology of Nightingales, along with some insight into the habitat management that we do on the reserve for this species.
On this May evening there will also be a chorus of other wonderful bird song to be heard!
This event is fully booked.
