Rutland Environmental Education Centre available for hire
The Anglian Water Birdwatching Centre is an excellent central location for Rutland, Oakham, Stamford, Leicester, Nottingham and Peterborough. It provides an ideal and peaceful location for your event.
The Education Centre offers stunning views over the nature reserve and lagoons and the view constantly changes according to the seasons, and the migratory wildlife that visits the lagoons.

- Seats up to 60 persons for a presentation or lecture
- Seating for up to 40 persons in boardroom or classroom layout

- Disabled facilities are provided within the building, including a hearing loop
- Tea and coffee available throughout the day
- Small meeting room seating up to 6 persons also available
- Car park available for delegates
- Optional extra – guided walk with a warden on the Nature Reserve (pre booking required)

All prices exclude VAT.
For bookings extending beyond these hours there will be an additional charge of £15 per hour.
Room hire booked in the middle of the day, i.e. 10.00 am to 2.00 pm will be counted as a full day.
Refreshments and Catering
Tea and coffee can be provided throughout the duration of your room booking at a cost of £1.65 per person excluding VAT
Hire of the small meeting room includes complementary tea and coffee
Our facilities do not enable us to provide in-house catering. However you are welcome to make your own arrangements. We can put you in touch with a choice of local caterers who provide sandwich or buffet lunches to suit your requirements.
We are happy to arrange for a caterer to come in on your behalf, however this carries an additional fee of £10.00
