MEET THE STAFF

Tim Appleton is the Reserve Manager. Tim has been at the
reserve since its creation in 1975. |
The Senior Warden is Martyn Aspinall. He has worked on the reserve since 1990. His special responsibilities are overseeing the day-to-day implementation of the management plan and liaising with volunteers. |
Julia Fisher-Robbins has been the full-time administrator for the reserve since May 2001. Julia's responsibilities include organising the team of volunteer wardens who help to run the visitor centres. |

The Reserve Warden is Martin Kerman who joined the team in October 2004. Prior to his appointment he worked for the RSPB in field research. He has also worked as a volunteer at Rutland Water and on other reserves both in the UK and abroad. |
Fran Payne is an Assistant Warden, joining the team in August 2006. After her degree she was a regular volunteer on the reserve and also worked in the visitor centres as part of education team . |
Lloyd Park is another Assistant Warden who joined the team in 2007. His responsibilies include improving the quality of the grassland areas around the whole reservoir. Lloyd is also a fully qualified tree surgeon |

Jacky Morrell is the Education Officer on the reserve. She is responsible for an extensive programme of educational visits for schools, colleges and adult groups. Jacky is also responsible for managing the AWBC building. |
Alison Beaumont had lots of experience in outdoor education before joining the Rutland Water team in 2007. She works as Visitor Centre Assistant at Egleton as well as assisting with the programme of educational visits. |
Sue James has been an Osprey Volunteer for the past 4 years and is now a Visitor Centre Assistant at Egleton. This part-time role involves welcoming members of the public to AWBC and supporting volunteers at the reception desk |
