Record individual day list
On Sunday 2 September 2001, Matthew Berriman carried out a day-long birdwatch entirely from within the reservoir boundaries and saw 101 species, beating his own previous record set up in May 2001 by 8.
This record has now stood for nearly five years so it is high time it was beaten! Please send an email to tappleton@lrwt.org.uk giving your species list (together with locations) if you manage to exceed the current record. On 6-7 October 2001, a record 116 species of birds were recorded at Rutland Water.
